East County Surf is looking for focused, talented and hard-working players to join the most competitive teams in San Diego. Last year, over 1,000 players attended East County Surf Tryouts. This year, we are expecting an even bigger turnout. We welcome you to join our club, as we work to relentlessly cultivate the quality of soccer in East County.

Receive an evaluation from one of our coaches. Joining an evaluation session is the best way to get a mutual feel for the coach, the player and the parents. We highly recommend this as a first step, so you can evaluate us as much as we evaluate you, in a comfortable setting.
Attend an East County Surf ID Camp. If you are able, we recommend you register for one of our upcoming talent identification camps to receive an evaluation with other players within your age group. These camps are free and will be a more intimate setting than tryouts.
Attend East County Surf Tryouts. All players who wish to receive a spot on one of our teams, must register for East County Surf Tryouts in January. While tryouts are a critical part of building top teams, we encourage you to participate in all three options so you have the best chance for success.
Registration Day for the 2021-2022 Season is quickly approaching! This year, Registration will take place outdoors, during the day at Junior Seau Sports Complex in La Mesa. Players and parents will speak with their coach, register for your team, meet our directors and receive a message from our Club President.
All new and returning players who are offered a spot on a team must register by January 24. If you do not register by January 24, your spot will open up to other players.
