What is the name of our club?
East County Surf Soccer Club (often shortened to East County Surf).
Where is East County Surf located?
East County Surf will continue to be based in La Mesa, California but will now serve the entire East County region of San Diego County.
How are we affiliated with Surf?
Surf Cup Sports, Surf Soccer’s governing entity, has a powerful and growing Surf Affiliate Program.
Liverpool Soccer Club has entered into a partnership agreement with Surf Cup Sports to become East County Surf Soccer Club.
As an affiliate, East County Surf will operate independently and autonomously from Surf. We will have our own Board of Directors, our own Coaching Staff, our own Coaching Philosophy and our own Style of Play.
As a club, we will continue to create our own success and make our own decisions. That said, we will now have greater access to elite programs, leagues, tournaments, showcases and development opportunities that come with the Surf pedigree.
Why are we partnering with Surf?
Our affiliation with Surf aligns us with the most influential youth soccer organization in the US.
Founded in 1977, Surf has built an unprecedented culture of achievement that consistently produces and places top players amongst the highest levels of competition.
Surf has earned a sterling reputation with 9 National Championships, 146 State/Regional titles and is nationally recognized as one of the top clubs in the USA. Surf is a member of USSF Development Academy and a member of Elite Clubs National League. No other club has sent more players to US National Teams in the last 5 years.
In the coming years, our players will be able to take advantage of exclusive opportunities to reach elite levels of competition, tournaments, showcases and programs through Surf.
Leagues:
East County Surf teams play in Development Player League (DPL), National Premier Leagues (NPL) and SoCal Soccer League (SoCal) and will continually be exploring the most competitive leagues available to us.
Uniforms:
All players will be ordering new Surf uniforms every season through soccer.com.
